What's Wrong with Timon of Athens?

Thursday 4 September 6-7pm
with John Wolfson (Curator of Rare Books, Globe Education)
Timon of Athens is Shakespeare's least produced play, his least read play, and his least discussed play. Did a second playwright write much of it and, if so, which scenes did he write? In his eleventh annual talk at Shakespeare's Globe, John Wolfson will explore who wrote Timon of Athens, why it was so popular in the Restoration and why it is so rarely performed today.
John Wolfson will be assisted in his talk by two actors.

There is a performance of Timon of Athens at 7.30pm that evening.
